Mr. Brown has been employed in the macadamia industry for 33 years.  The past 22 years with MacFarms, most recently as General Manager.

“These are exciting times for MacFarms” said Mr. Brown.  “Thanks to a consistent rainfall pattern since December of 2003, the current orchard production and kernel quality is the best in years.  The timing of this large crop is important since MacFarms had recently completed a project to significantly increase its capacity to pack MacFarms brand retail and several co-pack products at its factory located at Kapua, South Kona.  This investment in packing capacity was needed to meet the growing demand of MacFarms retail products in Hawaii and abroad.”
